For the early music enthusiasts we make baroque instruments following the old Cremonese method. The neck is glued to the ribs without setting it in the instrument's body and the angle comes from the shape of the fingerboard. This is made from light wood covered with ebony as the tailpiece. For this kind of instrument we mainly use models after Andrea Amati which we realise in new or antique version. The gut strings, the shorter and lighter bassbar and the baroque bridge complete the work which attempts to be as close as possible to the form of the original instruments. We also reconvert old instruments to a baroque set up in different ways depending on the different requirements of the musicien and the particularity of the instrument. These adaptations can be limited to the baroque bridge and gut strings or include the change of the fingerboard and tailpiece without altering the original neck.
